About the project
Sintio, a Swiss startup, wants to accelerate the electric vehicle (EV) market with a user-friendly, comprehensive charging management solution. Their application streamlines EV system administration, making it easier for property owners and management companies to provide vehicle charging stations for citizens.
However, as a small player in a competitive field, it was difficult for Sintio to gain market recognition. They sought out Levi9 as a partner who shared their values of open communication and collaboration, trusting us to develop an innovative green technology solution that stands out from competitors.
Together with Sintio, we developed a customized EV charging management solution that addresses public and private charging needs, integrating essential features like account management and Stripe payment solutions. The technical backbone of the project is a robust tech stack comprising .NET Core, RDS, AWS Computer Cloud, ELB, EC2, ECS, and Cloud Watch. Another key innovation was the integration of the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP), ensuring seamless communication across various charging stations.
To succeed in this project, we needed to do much more than provide technical expertise. We embraced Sintio’s challenges and goals as our own, adapting to the busy schedules of Sintio’s product owner and proactively engaging in the business side of the project. This Agile adaptation was evident in our team’s approach to problem-solving – whether it was rethinking the architecture mid-project or finding unconventional ways to test chargers, like using everyday appliances in the office.
